The Weldery
Crafted an elevated brand for a modern jewelry & keepsake experience
Note: This project was completed under Creative Nomads
The Weldery is a modern jewelry brand offering welded 14k gold chains designed to celebrate meaningful moments and lasting connections. I had the opportunity to lead the design and creative direction for The Weldery’s brand from the ground up – a project I worked on under Creative Nomads. This included developing their logo, visual identity, and overall brand tone, then bringing it all to life through a refined, story-driven website experience. From thoughtful UX and emotionally-led copywriting to curated visuals and image color grading, every element was crafted to reflect the brand’s values of warmth, beauty, and timeless connection.
The Challenge
Since The Weldery was just starting out, we were building everything from scratch, which was exciting, but also meant we had to be extra intentional with every design and messaging choice.
One of the biggest challenges was how to introduce welded jewelry in a way that felt clear, warm, and approachable, especially for people who were completely new to the concept. The experience is personal and meaningful, but if not explained well, it could easily feel intimidating or overly technical.
At the same time, the brand needed to stand out visually, feel high-end without being too serious, and guide people toward booking their own moment, whether that’s at a pop-up, a private event, or through a boutique partner.
My Approach
I started by getting super clear on what The Weldery is really about: connection, celebration, and pieces that stay with you.
From there, I created the full brand identity:
A simple yet symbolic logo (with a spark!)
A warm, neutral color palette that feels soft and elevated
A clean, modern layout and photo direction that highlights emotion over flash
On the website side, I made sure the homepage told a story: what The Weldery is, how it works, and how you can book. Everything was written in a way that’s easy to understand, friendly, and still feels special.
I also helped refine and color-grade their photos so that the overall look was cohesive, soft lighting, golden tones, and visuals that really reflect the heart of the brand.
